Here’s a brand new video from this year, and it’s from one of my favorite Japanese reef aquariums. This Acro-heavy reef tank from “pontyandayo” features a unique live rock layout that provides many great places for full-sized colonies, yet still having plenty of swimming space for all of those amazing butterfly and angelfish. In previous years, this aquarium was more dominated by tabling Acros. It still is at this point, but it would appear more branching corals have found their way into the tank. I would also like to point out that a pair of my favorite wrasses is also visible. The Golden Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis) is both very striking and highly sought after in the hobby.
