Tip of the Day 1/3/2011

Sometimes the water flow in our aquariums is too much, causing sand to blow around no matter what direction you point the powerheads and outlet nozzles. Because of this, the bottom of the aquarium may get exposed in a couple of places, which isn’t exactly what we want to see on our tanks. If decreasing flow isn’t an option, you could put a heavier sand where empty spots are forming. The heavier sand won’t get blow away as easily and will fill that hole that’s exposing the bottom of your aquarium.
