Tip of the Day 1/6/2011

Though we typically care more about what’s inside our tanks than outside, the exterior of an aquarium can be very important to the overall look of the setup. Dangling wires, accumulating salt, and unfinished stands all take away from our aquariums visually, especially if there’s a specific theme you are trying to achieve. Organize equipment and cables, routinely clean debris from the stand, and try to keep things visually appealing underneath the aquarium. Not only will this improve air flow (fewer things to restrict air), but it might also make maintenance tasks easier to perform.
