The still unnamed AVAST Marine Works ozone reactor has recently been spotted on video. This short clip above shows water and ozone mixing through a venturi adapter, with fine drops getting sprayed into a plate that then distributes the mix onto the AVAST made bio-bale media. The media increases the dwell time of the water/O3 mixture, thus allowing the entire system to be more efficient.
According to AVAST, they have been testing these reactors on a 600-gallon aquarium, indicating that the reactor was able to handle it with ease. The larger model was tested on a very large greenhouse coral growout facility. In total, three AVAST ozone reactors will be available starting February 9th.
