Remembering to perform water changes, change out carbon, or swap out old light bulbs isn’t always the easiest to do. We get busy and forget to do certain things, especially if those tasks only occur a couple times per year. To track your aquarium and keep up to date with maintenance, you could create yourself a logbook and write down everything you do and need to do in the foreseeable future. Or, if you don’t want to be bound to the boring old pen and paper method, you could get yourself an aquarium app such as the aquaPlanner. Apps like these help cut back on the clutter, but at the same time have built in features that help us to perform tasks that we might overlook. Not to mention, they are also mobile friendly and alert you when a task is coming up or overdue. Let’s see a piece of paper do that!
