Don’t like your local aquarium club or simply don’t have one for your area? Why not try starting your own? You don’t need a fancy website or any computer skills. Start gathering up your closest friends on a regular basis and talk about reefs. Over time, your audience should grow and maybe you could move into the online world. Most aquarium clubs of the past started this way and, in my opinion, it’s one of the purest ways to get a solid club going. You can meet at fish stores, in someone’s garage, or even out in a park. The possibilities are endless.
