Just a few days ago we shared a story about an unknown man entering into a fish store and dumping powdered bleach into one of the systems. When we first wrote about the travesty, all we had were still images of the assailant performing the horrendous act. Recently though, security footage of the incident has surfaced, and it honestly makes the situation appear far more gruesome than still images or words could ever convey. The disgusting piece of sub-human trash (can you tell I’m mad) can be seen flinging the white powder into the tank multiple times, making sure to get it in every one of them. He even hangs around long enough to see how the animals in the tanks react.
The bleach eventually lead to the deaths of 70 or more fish, invertebrates, and corals. The owner was oblivious to what was going on, as he had his back turned to the tanks, but saw the fish quickly dying. After a couple of hours of troubleshooting and head scratching, the owner turned to the security cameras to see what happened. He was shocked to see the once friendly customer dumping the bleach into the tank, but at this point there was really nothing he could do.
