Stainless steel fragging equipment may be rust resistant, but over time they will corrode in the salty and humid environment in and around your aquarium. Items like bone cutters and tissue scissors will work well for a while, but after some time they will begin to stick a little and may become difficult to operate. Any time they are used in the aquarium, it’s a good idea to wash them in freshwater afterward, making sure to dry them and store them in a cool and dry place. Other items like razorblades will quickly rust and should therefore be thrown away after one or two uses.
