Have small fish but want to keep some choice invertebrates that could potentially eat those fish? The best way to keep potential opportunistic feeders from dining on your more attractive livestock is to continually spot feed the invertebrates. Brittle stars are the most notorious potential fish eaters that come to mind, but luckily they will eat just about anything. Spot feeding with dried krill should suffice, and it’s something we’ve done with great success. But if you do mix fish with these inverts, do expect some rough run-ins at some point.
