Tip of the Day – 12/26/2011

With Christmas in the rear view, there are some of us who didn’t get exactly what they wanted. This could be a piece of aquarium equipment that will not benefit you, or a particular animal that shouldn’t be housed in your aquarium. Regardless of what it is, it needs to be taken back to the store. So, attempt to do that if either the equipment or livestock were purchased locally. If they were bought online, it’s a little more complicated. Fortunately, your local fish store might give you store credit for an item purchased on the net. You might have to take a small hit on the item in terms of price, and you’ll likely get the money back in the form of store credit. Regardless, you can put that credit toward the purchase of something for fitting for your aquarium.
