If you’re like me, then you house a great deal of your aquarium junk in the garage. The empty salt buckets, saltwater mixing containers, and other leftovers are out of your fish rooms and keep the inside of your house clutter free. However, when they sit in the garage they can become covered in dust and all manner of debris. The dust, grass, spider webs, and dead insects accumulate in our aquarium gear, and hobbyists need to make sure the equipment is cleaned thoroughly before use. Otherwise, the dust will get into the water of the aquarium and could cause unwanted algae growth or other problems.
