If you’ve got a problem in your aquarium, a lone water change won’t fix a whole lot. Yes, quality water changes can do wonders for just about any issue, but in order to gain the most benefit of a water change, aquarium keepers need to perform several of them over a short period of time. This will remove any harmful substances, while at the same time replenishing beneficial nutrients that keep your livestock thriving. Of course, these statements only hold true if clean RO/DI water and a reputable salt mix are used in the process.
