Tip of the Day – 9/4/2012

There’s an old saying that goes “the journey is the destination”, and in our opinions, this couldn’t be a more fitting saying for the aquarium hobby. When it comes to setting up a new tank, there’s nothing more enjoyable or more educational than selecting all of the equipment and assembling it all by hand. And despite there being an ideal finished product, we often get more excitement out of building the tanks and stocking them instead of putting them on cruise control and just maintaining them. Case in point, people are constantly upgrading to new setups after their current setups just don’t excite them anymore. Aquarium hobbyists just love to assemble equipment and mix things up, which helps keep their passion for the hobby alive and healthy.
