When shipping coral frags that you’ve sold over the net, be sure to package them appropriately so that they do not suffer from the shipping process. Each coral should be bagged separately, and it’s best to attach the frag plug to a piece of styrofoam so that it can be suspended upside down. This will prevent the coral from being exposed to air, which can be very problematic if the exposure is prolonged for any reason. It’s also a good idea to pack in as much water as possible. This will probably be tough on the shipping costs, but it will be worth it in the long run because the corals will show up in better condition and you’ll preserve your reputation in the process.
