Christmas is right around the corner, and that means your house will start filling up like that of the Griswold’s soon enough. While it’s nice to see family during the holidays, their presence presents a few obstacles for aquarium keepers. For one, they may try to “help” you with feeding the fish or performing certain maintenance tasks. Obviously there are a million ways for their help to end in disaster, so it might be wise to set up a series of guidelines that push the message that the tank is yours and only you are qualified to do anything to it. Encourage family memers to look at the tank but not touch, but at the same time don’t be a jerk about it. That’s all you need over the holidays is a bunch of angry in-laws ruining things.
