Tip of the Day – 7/25/2013

Sometimes the glass (or acrylic) walls of our aquariums build up some funky, stubborn algae. When this buildup occurs, the only way to get rid of it is to get your hands dirty and scrape it off manually. Algae scraping magnets may not suffice, so a handheld scraper might be required. And it may take you a few days to get it all, depending on how much there is or how hard it is to remove.
