Euphyllid corals have always been a crowd favorite in the aquarium trade, and we are featuring a beautiful one in this week’s AquaNerd Picture of the Week. This green hammer coral isn’t anything rare, but its color is flawless and crisp, with the polyps beautifully inflated in the water current. We encountered this piece at a local store, FJW Aquarium, which is one of the top stores in the Houston area. FJW has a huge cube tank full of LPS corals, including a massive collection of Euphyllids in various shapes and sizes. So if you’re an LPS nut, be sure to stop on by and tell them we sent yah.
