Tip of the Day – 11/13/2013

Freshwater planted aquariums can be made into beautiful masterpieces of aquatic art, and since we’re partial to aquariums of the salty variety, we love seeing that style translate over into a marine planted tank. We’re not talking about macroalgae tanks, which are beautiful in their own right, but saltwater tanks with seagrasses. These tanks are very uncommon, and often have a somewhat messy and chaotic look, but when done just right they can be strikingly beautiful. The plants are fairly uncommon as well, but there are some readily available that can easily get you started.
