Tip of the Day – 12/3/2013

Corals can pop up in the most random of places in the aquarium. Frags fall off their mounts, wandering invertebrates knock corals into crevices and behind the rockwork, and plenty of other corals can reproduce in the tank and have babies shoot up all over. Because of this, it’s important to really search the tank all over for any corals that are outside of your normal viewing area, especially if those corals need some sort of specific care. Target feeding or providing adequate light to a very specific area of the tank may be far too difficult to achieve long term, if you know where the corals are, you can relocate them to a more convenient location.
