Want to mix things up with your water flow scheme without having to add a bunch of costly pumps ? Try an oscillating return for your aquarium. These devices won’t break the bank and use very little electricity. On top of that, they rely on existing aquarium equipment to get the job done. So, only a minimal investment is required to get some much desired variation in the water flow in your aquarium. Normally, we don’t factor the flow from our return pumps into the overall water flow patterns of the aquarium, but any variation in those patterns will help. For installation purposes, there are models for eurobraced and rimless tanks alike, and they often come with multiple fittings for both hard and soft plumbing.
