One of the biggest things that I have learned in my time as a hobbyist, especially over the last couple of years, is to really expand my horizons and jump out of my comfort zone. During a brief instant message conversation with Dustin Dorton, of ORA fame, it dawned on me that I was not as familiar with a specific fish genus as I thought. And boy had I been missing out. To my surprise, some of the fish from the genus in question were just mind meltingly awesome. So, don’t make the same mistake that I did. Don’t fall into the comfortable rut and stay there. Get out, enjoy something different and expand your knowledge.
