I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why people pay such exorbitant prices for corals that are known to be fast growers. I get that people have their own reefkeeping tastes, but why pay $80 per polyp for a zoanthid or hundreds of dollars for a mushroom coral? If the coral is a must have, then by all means, spend your money how you like. Just keep in mind that coral popularity fluctuates rapidly, and chances are that super expensive coral that you bought today will be half the price you paid, or less, a few months down the road.
