Moving an aquarium is always stressful, and even more so when your one and only tank gets a big chip or crack during the process. If you can afford to do it, the best way to move your tank is to set up another aquarium at the final destination, whether it be an additional display or just something temporary, and slowly transfer the livestock. After all of the animals have been moved over, you can break down the other aquarium and move on with your life. Of course, to do it this way you have to have two aquariums and obviously two places to set them up. This can be very expensive and may not always work out, especially if you’re selling a home and trying to buy another.
