Tip of the Day – 6/11/2014

Light timers and aquarium controllers are incredibly valuable tools. If you don’t believe us, try running a tank without one. It’s easy to setup a routine so that before you walk out the door you turn on your lights. Or if you go to work early in the day, perhaps you turn them on as soon as you get home. Either way, if something throws off your routine, your lights might not get turned on (or off) on random days. This happening every once in a while won’t hurt your tank’s inhabitants, but we all go through those rough weeks where things just don’t happen as they should. By using a timer or controller, the lights will come on regardless of whether or not you’re busy or are just having a bad couple of days.
