Aquariums are wondrous sights to behold and often capture the undivided attention of children and adults alike. This attention often turns into more of a playful curiosity, and it’s not uncommon for both young and old to want to tamper with things. And neither knows what is going on, so in both situations disaster is a common end result. Kids want to emulate their parents and will often try to feed the fish. Adults, on the other hand, tend to have a better grasp on their limitations and ignorance, but still manage to get into situations out of their control. Moral of the story? Keep locks and other childproof latches on your stand’s doors and monitor any close activity. You won’t catch every little thing, but you might just stop something detrimental from happening.
