Georgia Aquarium Celebrates 5th Birthday

The Georgia Aquarium is turning 5 today, celebrating by throwing a 5 week long bash. The party will start with a mascot parade, followed by more events that will take place each day through November 22. After the initial 5 days of activities, the aquarium will follow up with 5 weeks of “fun”, which have yet to be described by the organization, but will be available soon. The first five days will feature special ticket pricing ($5 off all tickets with kids under 5 free), free cookies, a musical revue, commemorative photos, and lots of prizes. The recurring theme in the Georgia Aquarium’s celebration announcement is a focus on the children. Besides allowing children under 5 free admission, almost all of the activities will be focused on children.
