Whale Sushi
A short time back we discovered a STORY about a sushi restaurant that was serving whale meat to its patrons. It pleases me to hear that, after federal chargers were filed, the Hump restaurant will be closing its doors. According to the Santa Monica Mirror, the closing is a self-imposed punishment that the restaurant will be undertaking as an effort to bring awareness to the illegal whaling trade. In addition to closing, the Hump owners could possibly face a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a fine of $200,000.
