LPS Coral Feeding on Video

Here is a recent video we shot of an LPS coral feeding on mysis shrimp. We turned off all of the water flow, dropped some food onto the coral, and sat patiently for 20 minutes and watched. The coral can be seen expanding, while at the same time exposing its tentacles and repositioning the food. Each shrimp gets slowly engulfed by the coral. The video has been significantly sped up so that you can see the coral grabbing the food, swelling up, and ingesting the large pieces of shrimp.
