Just yesterday, EcoTech Marine announced its newest pump…the VorTech MP60w with the EcoSmart controller. EcoTech has also added some footage of this beast in action, making huge waves in a display aquarium (see above). To help keep the pump cool, EcoTech has added vents on the dry side of the pump to keep the motor from overheating. We are very curious to hear how loud these are in person, but by judging from the audio taken from the videos circulating around the web, it’s not very loud.
