The Marine Aquarium and Reef Society of Houston, also known as MARSHreef, is hosting their third semi-annual fall picnic and frag swap event Sunday, October 17th in Sugar Land. The event won’t feature any fancy vendors or guest speakers, but will instead focus purely on the aquarium hobbyist interaction. Attendees are encouraged to bring used equipment and frags to the event to trade and sell to other members of the local aquarium community.

Paid members of the Houston saltwater club will have free access to the event. However, club guests will have to pay $5 at the door to help cover the cost of food and drinks. The last two picnics were great. The weather was beautiful and a lot of people showed up. So if you’re in the area and are in need of some frags, need to get rid of a few, or just want to hang out with like-minded people, be sure to sign up on MARSH’s website and hopefully we’ll see you there.
