We were recently emailed by a production assistant from “Tanked” with a request to let everyone know about their casting campaign currently going on for the upcoming second season of the controversial aquarium-themed Animal Planet reality television show. While we were hesitant to spread the news since we haven’t had a very good opinion of what the television show has done in its first season, we’re hoping things will change with new season and they will listen to our criticisms. After all, Brett Raymer from Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM), the company that the show is based on, did say that they will have more creative control with the new season and plan on doing things a bit differently. Getting back to the casting call, the production company is on the hunt for people who are interested in buying a customized fish tank and being on the show. To be considered for the show, the aquarium has to be purchased and installed between November 2011 and March 2012, and obviously you have to be comfortable with being on camera. And despite the fact that ATM is located in Las Vegas, it’s not a limiting factor to be considered for the show since they travel all over. To get in on the action, visit the Nancy Glass Productions website, answer a few questions, and submit their information form.
The official announcement can be read below.
