DFW NextWave Happening This Weekend

Single-day aquarium events are all the rage these days, with clubs all over the nation doing everything they can to bring the next big thing in the marine aquarium world right to their doorstep. While many clubs are just getting their events off the ground, the Dallas Forth Worth Marine Aquarium Society (DFWMAS) has been doing it for many, many years. This weekend, March 9th to be exact, DFWMAS will be hosting yet another NextWave, and it looks like it will deliver the same quality that we’ve come to expect from this annually occurring event.

The day will be full of frags from the Tyree Coral Farmers Market, as well as raffles, and guest speakers. The doors open at 8am sharp and the show wraps up with a huge raffle that ends around 5:45pm. Four guest speakers are spread throughout the day, and the list of aquarium industry experts giving these chats include Terence Fugazzi of Neptune Systems, aquarium legend Bob Fenner, lighting expert Sanjay Joshi, and Scott Fellman of Unique Corals. That’s quite a well rounded list if I do say so myself, and I’m glad to have the chance to hang with all of these guys when I get up to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
