As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the newest season of Tanked starts tonight, March 22nd. So, if you’re a fan of the show, be sure to tune in to Animal Planet at 9pm EST and 8pm CST for a new episode of big tank builds, funny pranks, and tons of fish. Titled “Pranks and Dranks!” this episode teams up the Acrylic Tank Manufacturing crew with “Jackass” producer Jeff Tremaine, who is getting a saltwater aquarium for his man cave. The second build involves a smoothie franchise in Florida that wants a tall, cup-shape tank with a plastic lid and straw.
Some of you might have noticed a change in our stance on the show “Tanked”. While we have our personal reservations about the show and wish certain things would change, we got to see how big of an impact it had on kids interested in the hobby and it gave us a different perspective. Being a new parent myself, I can appreciate anything that can get a child interested, and maintain that interest.
