For this week’s AquaNerd Picture of the Week, we are taking a slightly different approach. Instead of focusing on corals and marine fish, we are featuring a green sea turtle, seen here at the Moody Gardens aquarium. The privately owned exhibit takes in local turtles on a regular basis, with the government’s permission of course, and rehabilitates them for a while depending on their injuries. We didn’t noticed any particularly threatening disabilities on this turtle, as it actually looked like it was in great health, but several others were missing fins or had some other type of injury.
