Today, the Marine Aquarium and Reef Society of Houston, or MARSHReef, held their first inaugural frag swap, membership drive, and picnic. The club has held frag swaps and membership drives in the past, but never in this style. The weekend weather was perfect. Temperatures were in the high 60’s and the skies were cloudless. Club members and guests gathered to swap frags, eat cheese burgers and hot dogs, and socialize throughout the afternoon. At the end of the event, the club raffled off several items, including gift cards to sponsors, a couple powerheads, and even a pair of UV sterilizers. The event couldn’t have been held on a more perfect afternoon, and the food was delicious. Below is a few pictures I took while at the swap.
