Davy Jones’ Skimmate Locker Video Review

As we mentioned over the weekend, we were sent a Davy Jones’ Skimmate Locker from AVAST Marine Works for a product review. And given our new acquisition of an HD video capable camera, we’ve begun to do product reviews and introductions in video because still images just can’t fully capture how a product works. Above is a video highlighting many of the features on the Davy Jones’ Skimmate Locker, including the removable lid, carbon filled air vent, and pressure activated power switch. As you can see from the video above, the pressure switch responds very quickly. As soon as the switch is tripped, it immediately cuts power to the outlet. This turns off the power to whatever device is plugged into the switch, which is hopefully your protein skimmer.
