Regardless of your political leanings, this very generous move by one California aquarium is sure to bring a little warmth to your day. Since the country is in the middle of a big governtment shutdown, the Moterey Bay Aquarium is offering free admission to tall federal employees. Announced very recently on Facebook, the offer is good any day of the week during normal business hours, and will continue on until the shutdown officially ends, whenever that may be. All you need to get in for free is a federal ID. The offer is available for military and civilian employees alike, but unfortunately, it is not available for family members. We applaud this generous move and would love to see it replicated throughout the country during this trying time.
